How Remarketing can help your business

What is remarketing?

Remarketing is a way of targeting specific people who have visited your site and showing them relevant ads as they browse around the internet. In fact you have probably been remarketed to yourself, you know, you’ve been looking at some great cycling shoes on Wiggle and now those shoes seem to be following you all around the web.

How does it work?

It’s simple, a piece of code is placed on the pages of your website and every time the site gets a visitor it will drop a browser cookie on their computer. Then when they leave your website and go off to another website which has ads on it, Google will show them a relevant ad based on the pages they have just been looking at on your site, reminding them to go back to your site and make a purchase.

Why use remarketing?

Remarketing is used as a cheaper way of getting visitors to your site to make a purchase and to raise awareness of your brand or services. It’s a powerful way of staying connected to potential customers and reminding them that you are still there when they are ready to make a purchase or buy a service.

Is remarketing right for your business?

Remarketing is perfect for your business if you are looking to increase your level of exposure for products and services at very low costs.
